Born in Panama City, Panama in 1971. He began his artistic training at the School of Fine Arts in the city of Santiago, Veraguas, Panama; where, in 1995, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Plastic Arts. The following year, he took a course on Ornamental Welding at the National Institute of Professional Formation of Veraguas. About 1997, he went into a Technician's program in Architectural Outlining at the University of Panama, Veraguas Branch. By 2001, he achieved a Painting Oriented Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Arts at the National School of Fine Arts Panama. During the pursuit of his Bachelor’s Degree, along with other artists, he took part in the creative conception and pictorial process of the mural “Bella Maxima” in the auditorium at the University of Panama, Veraguas Branch. Once his fine arts education completed, he taught drawing and painting courses in 2002 at the School of Fine Arts in the city of Chitre, province of Herrera, Panama. While teaching Saturday’s art classes to children and adolescents through 2003 and 2004 second semester academic year at the School of Fine Arts in Santiago, he also settled into his own art studio. In the summers of both 2004 and 2005, he gave art lessons to children at the same institution. Together with Artist Zulaika Vega, he collaborated in the decoration of petroglyphs and mega fauna reproductions for two of the Museum of Veraguas' showrooms, which opened to the public since November of 2004. His work has been shown in collective exhibitions nationwide, as well as in the city of Cartago, Costa Rica. He held his first solo show in the Mario Orozco Rivera Gallery at the Polyforum Siqueiros, Mexico City, Mexico, in 2008. Besides his native country, his paintings remain in private collections in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico, United States, Spain and France. Currently he shares even painting and teaching art classes in a high school.
Nace en la ciudad de Panamá en 1971. Realiza estudios en la Escuela de Bellas Artes en Santiago de Veraguas, Panamá; donde en 1995, recibe el título de Técnico en Artes Plásticas. Al año siguiente, toma un curso en Herrería Ornamental en el Instituto Nacional de Formación Profesional de Veraguas. Luego en 1997, ingresa en la carrera de Técnico en dibujo Arquitectónico en la Universidad de Panamá con sede en Veraguas. Obtiene en el 2001 el grado de licenciado en Artes Plásticas con especialidad en Pintura en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas. Durante sus estudios de licenciatura, participa junto a otros compañeros artistas en el proceso creativo y en la realización pictórica de la obra mural del auditorium "Bella Máxima" de la Universidad de Panamá sede Veraguas. Se desempeña en el 2002 como profesor de la cátedra de dibujo y pintura en el Centro de Estudios Superiores de Bellas Artes y Folclore de Chitre, provincia de Herrera. En el 2003 se instala en su taller. Al mismo tiempo, en el segundo semestre de ese año y en el 2004 imparte clases sabatinas de dibujo y pintura para niños y adolescentes en el Centro de Estudios Superiores de Bellas Artes y Folclore de Santiago. Igualmente dicta cursos de dibujo infantil en los veranos 2004 y 2005, en la misma escuela. Junto con la artista Zulaika Vega, brinda su colaboración en la decoración de reproducciones de petroglifos y mega fauna para dos de las salas del Museo Regional de Veraguas, inaugurado desde noviembre de 2004. Exhibe sus obras en colectivas en el ámbito Nacional; así como en la ciudad de Cartago, Costa Rica. Presenta en el 2008 su primera muestra en solitario en el Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros en la Ciudad de México D. F. Además de su país natal, sus pinturas se encuentran en colecciones privadas de Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, México, Estados Unidos, España y Francia. Actualmente comparte la pintura con la docencia en la disciplina de Expresiones Artísticas.
